Firas is a key member of the team mapping Bourj Al Shamali camp, and a founding member of the Public Lab chapter in the camp. He is studying to be a nurse, his real dream was to be a veterinarian (a profession prohibited to Palestinian refugees in Lebanon), so he opted for the closest degree that he would be allowed. An excellent student, he is already working at the local hospital doing his practice. A key member of the team mapping Bourj Al Shamali. In his spare time he is also part of the music band in the camp, playing the bagpipe.
